As we stated earlier, a large number of UK betting sites are now offering customers Cash Out. If you are looking for a bookie with cash out, we’ve revealed the very best UK Cash Out betting sites above. Obviously, to make the list the betting site must have a cash out facility available. We looked at a number of different aspects too when compiling our list, including bonus quality, depth of markets and the mobile betting experience.
What is Cash Out and how does it work?
Cash out is a facility that enables punters to settle a bet for a reduced amount before the conclusion of an event. With most Cash Out betting sites, you can cash out singles, accas, and multiples like Lucky 15s and Yankees. The value of your Cash Out settlement will depend on the odds at the time you decide to cash out.
If you are waiting on a team to win a match in the final leg of a 4 leg acca and they take a 1-0 lead, the Cash Out offer will increase in comparison to when it was 0-0. The opposite also applies if they concede and go 1-0 down. Below we look at some of the different options available when cashing out early…
Cash Out – Singles
Most old and new betting sites that have the Cash Out facility allow punters to cash out single bets early. You can cash out singles on a wide variety of sports, including horse racing, rugby, darts, and football. The size of the Cash Out offer on your single bet will depend on the live odds of the event you have bet on. If you back England to beat Ireland in rugby and with 15 minutes to go they are leading 34-17, the cash-out offer may be better than your initial stake, whereas if the match was 34-27 the offer would be less. If you get the sense that England are about to throw away their lead, Cashing Out early could be the way to go.
Cash Out Accas/Multis
Having the ability to cash out accas and multis is a big plus. Everyone knows how disheartening it is when the last leg of a valuable acca lets you down. There is nothing worse than seeing your team concede a couple of early goals, especially if you had a sneaky feeling that the worst would happen. Well, thanks to acca and multi cash out, you can get out early if you want to.
Partial Cash Out
Many betting sites have now introduced a Partial Cash Out option that allows you to leave some of your stake riding on the final outcome. The amount you cash out and the amount you leave riding is adjusted by using a sliding scale. The more you cash out, the less that is left riding on the final outcome and vice versa. Coral and Paddy Power both have partial cash out available, as do many other UK betting sites. Read our in-depth reviews to find out more.

Coral Cash Out

Coral is another leading brand in the UK gambling industry. Another betting site that forged its reputation on the high street, Coral is now one of the most prominent online betting sites now too. While they may not have Cash Out available for as many sports as some of their industry rivals, they more than make up for that with the massive range of football markets that qualify for Cash Out.
As far as we could see, they had Cash Out available for 21 different pre-match and in-play football markets. You could also Cash Out outright bets early for all the major leagues and cups and both club and international level. Coral also have Cash Out available for Tennis, Darts, Boxing, Horse Racing, Snooker, and Rugby but what sets them apart is their football Cash Out facility. Feel free to use the Coral welcome bonus to test out their cash out feature.
When Should You Use Cash Out?
So, when is the best time to use Cash Out? Honestly, this is a very difficult question to answer. It is all down to whether you are someone who likes to take risks, or whether you are more conservative in your approach to betting.
As an example, say you placed a 5 leg acca with a potential return of £1000 and the first 4 legs win. The team you are waiting on takes an early 1-0 lead and your bookie offers you £775 to cash out early. The longer the game goes on with your team leading, the higher the Cash Out offer will be.
If they concede an equaliser, the offer will drop dramatically so, in this case, Cashing Out early could be a good option.
Cash Out Pros And Cons
Although there is no doubt that the Cash Out tool is a handy option to have, there are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to cashing out. The most obvious negative is that you are taking reduced winnings compared to if you waited for the event you have bet on to finish. However, on the other hand, unexpected outcomes are common when betting on sports, so it could be worthwhile in certain circumstances to cash out. Below we will look at the key Cash Out pros and cons in more detail.
Cash Out Betting Sites – The Pros
- Guarantee a profit no matter what the end result
- Lock in a profit on Accas early
- Sliding scales allow you to partially cash out and leave some of your stake riding
The main advantages to using Cash Out are pretty obvious one. Having the ability to settle a bet early, before the event has finished, is clearly a good thing. It puts more power in the punter’s hands.
The biggest advantage for us is being able to Cash Out Accas and Multiple bets early. Not all Cash Out betting sites offer this facility, so make sure to check the relevant terms and conditions (or our reviews) before signing up. You can have the best of both worlds with Partial Cash Out too, as this enables you to lock in a return and leave some of your stake riding on the final outcome.
Cash Out Betting Sites – The Cons
- Cashing Out early will cost you profit if your wager goes on to win
- Fast-moving markets mean cash out offers can change frustratingly quickly
Make sure your Cash Out betting site has top-class software that enables you to Cash Out a bet as quickly as possible. In football, for example, a free kick in a dangerous position or a corner can cause a change in odds and this, in turn, has an effect on the Cash Out offer.
Cash Out Betting Sites On Mobile

All of the Cash Out betting sites we listed earlier have either iOS or Android mobile betting sites or apps to download. Not only can you bet on the go, anywhere or anytime, but you can also Cash Out via the vast majority of mobile and web apps too.
If you sign up with William Hill, Coral or Paddy Power you will be able to Cash Out early on their well designed and slick mobile apps. If you can cash out on a sport on Desktop, you will be able to cash out on your mobile device. With live streaming now available via mobile with lots of bookies too, you can Bet, Watch and Cash Out no matter where you are!

Cash Out FAQs
What UK betting sites have cash out available?
A massive amount of UK betting sites now have a Cash Out option available. For a start, you can see who we rate as the best UK Cash Out betting sites further up the page. For us, Paddy Power, Coral, and Betfair are among the best UK bookies with a Cash Out facility. However, loads more bookies offer Cash Out too so make sure to check out our impartial reviews to find one that suits you best.
Why can’t I cash out my bet?
If you cannot cash out your bet it could be for a variety of reasons. Most betting sites include a Cash Out symbol or icon besides markets that have a Cash Out option, so keep an eye out for those before you start your bet. Cash out offers can be temporarily suspended too. For example, if a penalty is awarded in a football match all Cash Out offers will be suspended until it is taken.
What is partial cash out?
Partial cash out is a facility that enables you to take a return from a wager before it has been settled and leave some of your stake riding on the final result. Where partial cash out comes in handy is if you are watching a match and you just aren’t sure whether your selection is going to win. Okay, your returns take a hit if your bet ends up winning, but if it ends up losing you will at least have a modest profit to soften the blow.
How is cash out calculated?
Cash out is calculated by using the winnings you’re set to receive if your original bet wins alongside the odds you’d get if you backed the same selection again at that very moment.
For example, say you backed Manchester City at odds of 3/1 for £10. They’re leading 1-0 after 45 minutes and they’ve shortened to Evens. To get a cash out value that looks fair, divide the winnings you’re set to get by the current odds now they’re 1-0 up. So in this example it’d be 40/2 = 20. 2 being the decimal for evens. We all know that bookies won’t give you that exact amount as they need their own margin built into the bet, so your actual cash out figure might be around £17 instead of £20.
