F1 Betting Tip – Drivers Championship Odds 2020
In recent years Formula One has become all too predictable. Mercedes have dominated, supplying the last 6 winning drivers in a row. Lewis Hamilton was the winner for 5 of those 6 years, with Nico Rosberg winning in 2016. The 2019 season unfolded as many expected with Hamilton heading another Mercedes 1-2 with teammate Bottas in 2nd. In the Constructors Championship Mercedes accrued over 200 points more than their closest rivals Ferrari.
Mercedes won 15 of the 21 races in 2019 with Hamilton winning 11 and Bottas taking 4. Red Bull (3) and Ferrari (3) the only other teams to stand on top of the podium. One of the most improving drivers in the past couple of seasons has been Charles Leclerc and he won 2 races for Ferrari in 2019. He ended up finishing 4th overall with 264 points and 2020 could be the year he really challenges Mercedes and Hamilton.
