Every single sports betting site in the UK is going to cover Euro 2021 betting, that’s a fact. What you need to do as a punter is find out which bookies are offering the best Euro 2021 betting odds. You don’t want to back England to win the tournament at 4/1 when you can get 6/1 elsewhere, do you? Or maybe you do. But although you might back the shorter odds to keep faith with the bookmaker you’ve been at for a while, it’ll be to your advantage to shop around.

Luckily for you, we’ve done all the hard work, so you don’t have to. We’ve got our top nine Euro 2021 bookies in the list above and, as you can see, our top three Euro 2021 bookmakers who offer great odds as well as appealing Euro 2021 promotions are 888Sport, Betfair, and STS. We’re going to showcase their odds in a moment.

A lot of punters will be betting on the Euro 2021 outright market, that’s a certainty. Especially those who don’t really bet too much, they’ll want to have a punt on their country to win it as the whole of Europe and their dog gets involved. It really is a fantastic month of football and for betting on football. However, if you’re looking for good England to win Euro 2021 odds, you’re going to be slightly disappointed as they’re very short! Arguably too short. But that’s the English optimism for you. They’ve not won a major tournament since 1966 but always find themselves as one of the favourites. Could it be different this year?

Here’s a table showing you the outright odds of the top ten Euro 2021 teams in the betting:

Please note that we aim to update this Euro 2021 odds comparison table on a regular basis, but as the odds change so frequently, they may not be 100% accurate. They should be as we’re monitoring it, but be aware that there’s a chance it’s not accurate when you look at it. Although, as soon as you click on the button in the table that takes you through to the bookmaker to place a bet, the correct odds will be shown on their site.

Euro 2021 Top Scorer Odds – Who to Keep an Eye On

Harry Kane notched 12 goals in Euro 2021 Qualifying, more than any other player. He also chipped in with five assists. However, if you’re a football fan then you’ll know that the Spurs hitman is in a race to be fit for the summer tournament after suffering a tendon tear in his hamstring. Many expect him to win his fitness race, and although he may lack match fitness, he’s still one to watch in terms of being the Euro 2021 top scorer.

Away from Harry Kane and England’s attacking threat, there are plenty of others to consider for the Euro 2021 Golden Boot. And it’s not like you have to be too prolific to be up there vying for the title of European Championship top scorer. Antione Griezmann won it at Euro 2016 with six goals, which was the most scored in the tournament since 1984! Considering the golden boot was won at Euro 2012 by Fernando Torres who scored just three goals, it’s certainly up for grabs every single tournament. Here’s an odds comparison table with the top three bookmakers for Euro 2021 betting that shows the odds for the Euro 2021 Top Scorer accolade. We’ve covered the top 11 in the betting:

If you want an early Euro 2021 betting tip, it’s worth having a look at the groups to see has ‘easy’ fixtures. There could be a lot of goals scored by some sides, which bodes well for the country’s main striker. If his odds are high in the Euro 2021 top scorer outright market, it could be worth putting a few pennies on him.

888Sport Sign Up Offer – £30 in Free Bets

888sport new customer welcome bonus offer

888Sport has a solid welcome offer that’s up there with the best Euro 2021 sign up offers around. It’s a bet £10 get £30 offer, which a fair few bookies have handed out in recent years.

What’s good about the 888Sport bonus is that the minimum odds in the T&Cs is low at 1/2. All you need to do is register, deposit with 888sport promo code 30F and then bet £10 on any market at odds of 1/2 or better. Some bookmakers offer a similar welcome bonus but with the odds a little higher. As soon as that qualifying bet’s been placed, £30 in free bets will appear in your account; 2x £10 free bets to be used how you wish and 1x mobile free bet. Although you can use the bonus whenever you like, it’s worth keeping them as Euro 2021 free bets if you want to have a punt on markets you don’t really choose to bet on if it was your own money.

England at Euro 2021

As we’re a UK site, it’s only fair that we cover England. We could cover the other home nations too but we’d be here all day, so we’ve chosen to cover the side who arguably has the best chance in the summer.

After seven wins and one defeat in qualifying, scoring 37 and conceding just six along the way, England are in good competitive form heading into Euro 2021. But they always are, to be honest, their European Championship Qualifying campaigns are always pretty impressive. Gareth Southgate will be sweating on the fitness of frontmen Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford as it’s difficult to see where the goals may come from if they aren’t fit.

Do we expect England to go all the way? Not really. It would be great, but let’s not forget that England haven’t won anything since 1966. Next year always seems to be their year. At least we’ll get to enjoy the Three Lions anthem at the very least.

If you do want to back England, they’re around 5/1 with bookies such as Betfair.

Potential England Euro 2021 Squad

Gareth Southgate has until June 2nd to finalise his England Euro 2021 squad. Could there be any surprise inclusions in the 23 man squad?

Here’s what we know right now. Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford are currently fighting back from injury at the time of writing. They should both be fine for June but nothing’s ever certain when coming back from injury, is it? Southampton’s Danny Ings is definitely knocking on the door. Jordan Pickford isn’t having the best of seasons for Everton, which could mean that the number one spot is up for grabs. Nick Pope and Dean Henderson have both staked their claims for the jersey are some solid displays over the course of the Premier League season.

Will Arsenal’s young talent Bukayo Saka bypass the Under 21s completely and squeeze his way in? With the way he’s been playing this season, it’s difficult to ignore him.

Predicted England 23 Man Squad for Euro 2021

Goalkeepers – Jordan Pickford, Nick Pope, Dean Henderson

Defenders – Harry Maguire, Ben Chilwell, Trent Alexander-Arnold, John Stones, Joe Gomez, Kyle Walker, Tyrone Mings

Midfielders – Jordan Henderson, Callum Hudson-Odoi, James Maddison, Dele Alli, Declan Rice, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mason Mount, Harry Winks

Forwards – Raheem Sterling, Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Tammy Abraham

Euro 2021 Predictions – Starting XI for the First Game

It’s a difficult one to predict seeing as the squad is not known yet but, if everyone’s fit, we expect the England starting XI for Croatia on June 14th to be:

As much as Pope and Henderson will push Pickford for the number one jersey, will Southgate really make such a radical change for the tournament? It does depend on how the Everton goalkeeper does between now and the end of the season, but if the season ended now, we’d expect him to keep his spot. Just.

Who Will Shine for England at Euro 2021?

You can state the obvious with the likes of Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling, but there are some incredibly talented youngsters that could set the European stage alight in the summer for the Three Lions. Three players that could realistically get player of the tournament if they get enough minutes are:

  1. Jadon Sancho
  2. Trent Alexander-Arnold
  3. Marcus Rashford

19, 21, and 22 years of age at the time of writing. That’s special. If they’re firing on all cylinders for England then that ‘favourites’ tag might not look so bad after all.

Euro 2021 Live Betting – Get the Latest Odds

Gone are the days where you’d place your bet before kick off and just hope it lands. A hell of a lot of punters these days are betting in-play, and with 50 matches scheduled this summer, Euro 2021 live betting will no doubt prove to be very popular and a preferred betting option. The best live betting sites in the UK will all have a wide selection of markets to bet on at Euro 2021. Not only that but some bookies’ margins will be more competitive than others which will make for better in-play odds. With hundreds of markets at your disposal, you really can stay in the thick of the action until the final whistle from a betting perspective.

However, if you decide to bet in-play on Euro 2021 whilst watching the action live on TV, beware that the pictures you’re seeing will be delayed by a few seconds compared to the live action in the stadium. Stay vigilant with that if you’re betting. Especially on any betting exchanges.  The same goes for any suspensions on the Euro 2021 markets. They might be delayed for a few selections while the betting provider checks for any significant events at that time such as a penalty or a red card.

After UEFA decided to expand the Euros to 24 teams back in 2016, they’re sticking with that number again for this year. As usual, the top two from each group will qualify, and then the four best third-placed teams will move into the last 16 too. Last team standing wins thereafter.

Where is Euro 2021 Being Held?

12 stadiums in 12 different cities. Here’s where all of the Euro 2021 matches are taking place:

Euro 2021 Final – Can England Go One Better Than Euro 96?

Wembley will host the Euro 2021 semi-finals and the Euro 2021 final. England and Paul Gascoigne came so close way back at Euro 96 when they lost narrowly to bitter rivals Germany. If England win their Euro 2021 group and Germany finished second, they could face off in the quarter-finals of this year’s competition. We’ll see how it all pans out, but if we’re to see a repeat of the Euro 2016 final between Portugal and France then Germany will need to bow out at the group stage. They’re in the same group. The dreaded group of death.

It’s impossible to say whether England will reach the final or not, but if they can get all of their players back fit before the tournament begins, home advantage could play a huge part.

Euro 2021 TV Schedule – Where Can I Watch the Matches?

Good news for those who don’t have Sky, Virgin or BT. All Euro 2021 matches will be shown live on terrestrial TV, with ITV and BBC sharing the schedule.

It’s been decided that ITV will show the two evening England group stage fixtures, with the BBC covering the opening fixtures against Croatia. There will be loads of other matches on BBC and ITV throughout the tournament. The Final itself will be shown live on both ITV and BBC. If you don’t like adverts, go with the BBC, but if you prefer ITV commentary then stick with them. Everyone’s tastes are different.

In terms of a Euro 2021 live stream for the matches, there won’t be one. Why? Well, because of the strict licensing laws in the UK and the fact that ITV and BBC have the rights, to be honest. It’s as simple as that. That doesn’t mean you can’t bet live in-play because you can as we mentioned earlier. Don’t worry about that side of things.

UEFA European Championship – A Brief History

Held every four years since 1960, the European Championship determines who is the best footballing country in Europe. Between 1960 and 1980, the finals only had four teams battling it out for the trophy. It expanded to eight for the 1980 tournament in Italy. Euro 96 in England is the first year it expanded to 16 teams, and now it’s up to 24. So, arguably, it’s a lot harder to win it these days than it was many years ago.

European Championship Winners

Those who placed Euro 2016 bets on Portugal to win it were laughing all the way to the bank as they overcame a talented France side to lift the trophy after a 1-0 win. It was also their very first European Championship title. Here’s a list of all of the previous winners of the European Championship for your reference. It probably won’t sway you in any way in terms of betting on the European Championship, but it’s nice to see.

The Three Greatest Matches in European Championship History

Everyone can argue a top three list of the best European Championship matches in history, but here are our three picks. We’ve been a bit biased with England:

1996: Netherlands 1 England 4

Terry Venables and his England side cam so close to ending all those years of hurt back in 1996 as football came home. They lost out to Germany in the semi-finals, but it’s the 4-1 thumping of Holland that everyone fondly remembers.

The SAS partnership of Shearer and Sheringham was in full flow that day as both scored twice to humiliate a Dutch side who were expected to do well in the tournament. England blew them away. What made the victory a little sweeter was that a late Patrick Kluivert goal for Holland ensured that Scotland would be going home.

2000: Yugoslavia 3-4 Spain

Ok, so this didn’t really have much importance on it in terms of deciding anything, but this seven-goal classic will live long in the memory.

Spain were 3-2 down heading into added time at the end of the match! Up stepped Mendieta to roll the ball home from the spot to bring Spain level, which looked like it would salvage a draw. But then Alfonso hammered one into the bottom corner on the half volley in the 95th minute to win it! Both sides were knocked out in the quarters anyway, but this will always be remembered as one of the best ever European Championship matches. For those enjoying some European Championship betting back in the day, this must have made for nail-biting viewing.

2004: Portugal 2-2 England (Portugal won 6-5 on penalties)

Could England finally prove all the doubters wrong and go all the way this time? No was the answer. Frustratingly, a lot of the big guns had already fallen in the group stage, so Euro 2004 was a great chance for England to finally win a major trophy after so long.

After a 1-1 draw in normal time, England’s Frank Lampard took it to a penalty shootout with a late equaliser after Portugal had made it 2-1 in extra time. Beckham blazed over in the shootout and Darius Vassell had his saved as England bowed at 6-5 on penalties. Agonising.

European Championship Betting – Bet on Outrights Early

Another betting tip for you. Bet on outright markets early to get the best possible price. You may know this already, you may not. But if you don’t, it’s always worth doing a bit of research to see what group a team’s been drawn in and how well they did in qualifying. Or if you’re feeling super confident, back them before any draw is even done.

Let’s take England as an example. Back England to win Euro 2021 and you’ll get a price of around 5/1. If you backed them before the Euro 2021 qualifying campaign began, you might have got around 8/1. If you backed them even earlier, it might have been 10/1. This is just a hypothetical example, but you get what we’re trying to say. The earlier you bet, the better price you’re going to get. Although there is a slight risk involved. If you back England to win Euro 2021 in 2018 and they don’t even qualify for the tournament, then that’s tough luck.
